Alva is the furniture and objects design firm of siblings Susana Bastos, plastic artist, and Marcelo Alvarenga, architect.
The pieces created combine lines and details typical of the rational architecture thinking to the freedom of investigation that exists in artistic creation. A continuous study of materials and the proposal of unexpected dialogues are always present in Susana’s and Marcelo’s pieces.
